A little bit about myself. I'm almost 67 years old. I have osteoarthritis in my ankles, knees, hands and back so exercising is impossible. My weight loss will be slow because of my inability to exercise. I don't mind too much as the slower it comes off the better chance I have of keeping it off! 😊
127.5 kg Lost so far: 2.3 kg.    Still to go: 13.2 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
steady weight

good for you! good luck. it does get harder as we get okder. slow is good. means u have a better chance of keeping it off. it's a fact! I'm 58 and this is only the 5th time I've ever dieted in my life. I've always managed to keep it in a bit of control and always done it slowly. no fad diets . they don't work! Xx

I know what you mean I've got rheumatoid all over my body especially my some so I can barely walk never mind exercise and I moved house last year and came off my diet after losing 5 stone. I put 2 and 1/2 stone back on and thought to myself no longer. I went on my diet and lost 7.4lbs the first week by hardly moving so if I can do it anybody can do it. Best is luck and keep on here you get so much support 😉

Developed post covid arthritis…I really feel your pain. Although rheumatology have now concluded my pattern is atypical and am officially a medical mystery-words you never want to hear! Slow but steady wins the race. Don’t give up. There’s a whole bunch of us in your 🛶. Sending you good vibes for a pain free week xx

My mum is crippled by it. For me as I have lost the weight its impact has lessened. Have you tried Glucosamine Sulphate and Chondroitin Sulphate?
