Do you ever look at the scale and see how much you weigh, but you don't really believe it? I feel like I'm seeing the number, but I still think that I weigh the same like I did 20 years ago.
I'm in denial. ☹
How do I make myself take this seriously and actually stick with it for once? I'm tired of losing, gaining, losing, gaining!
125.5 kg Lost so far: 9 kg.    Still to go: 64.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Gaining 1.1 kg a Week

my own personal motivation this time around was that my weight was starting to impact my ability to do my job. I'm in a safety critical role so it was a wake up call. plus, I just got promoted too so didn't want to be known as the "fat one".

Think of the foods you love. Can you make them healthier in any way at all without sacrificing the enjoyment of them?

I’m the same. I try really hard for a few days but if I can’t see a visible result on the scales at weigh in then motivation evaporates & I fall into that cycle so easily. I’m hoping that nicer weather & being out and about generates energy and enthusiasm 🤞 So let’s get the salad in the fridge, the music playing in the kitchen & the trowel in the compost, have a jig & throw a few moves to entertain the neighbours. Stick on a smile cos today might just be a little better and brighter 🌞

depends how much you want it. don't get to my age (62)and realise you've spent 40 years wasting your life and destroying your health. don't expect miracles. this is a long game, if the scales don't move after two weeks adjust your calorie deficit and keep going. eat the foods you LIKE not rabbit food. but keep going. don't think after a week nothing has changed.
