Went to the doctor yesterday. She didn't like my morning fasting glucose numbers since they were still a little erratic. She upped my evening medication in the hopes of getting it to stabilize.

As for my 17 lb weight loss since I last saw her a month ago, she didn't seam overly thrilled saying it was mostly water weight loss. What a let down after being on a diet and trying to shed the pounds only to be told your weight loss will slow down. I'm now thinking of trying to find a new PCP who would hopefully be more encouraging. At least she didn't say anything negative about the Atkins diet.

I still have my resolve to get my weight down and get my blood glucose under control.
136.3 kg Lost so far: 8.3 kg.    Still to go: 45.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
