I have had a torn tendon in my right foot for the past few months which keeps me from doing most exercises. I am trying to eat right (for the most part) but without exercising, it's hard to keep the weight off. I have been trying to use the elliptical and the stationary bike a little lately and hope to increase the time abit.
86.1 kg Lost so far: 4.6 kg.    Still to go: 15.8 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.
Gaining 0.2 kg a Week

Swimming would be great for that type of injury. Is there a YMCA near you or some place with a pool. You could also work on upper body with some light weights.
