Toni Bourlon's Journal, 16 Feb 22

Another day, another lb. It's good I guess, though I worry that I'll just gain it back this weekend. I'm trying to come up with a plan to avoid that. Today I'm struggling a little more with hunger, something I didn't feel for the previous 2 days. Glad this is just a 3 day crash; speaking of which, my energy seems to have crashed as well. Last night I managed a 2.5 mile walk on my treadmill. Tonight I'll do some Pilates. I'm not lifting weights while on this VLC diet, will start that back up Saturday - hopefully in the gym. Today is supposed to get up to 72 degrees, but then tonight some thunderstorms come rolling in, and then the temps drop & rain changes to winter mix. Tomorrow will be interesting, if it's really bad I may stay home. Well, I suppose I should get back to work now.... Have a great day everybody!

Don’t WORRY about gaining it back, make a plan to prevent it from happening. Worry won’t work.

Weekends definitely kick my butt. My "vices" take over and I lose focus. A lot of regret washes over me on Sunday evening. We have the same weather forecast you have. You must be in the Midwest. I'm in Kansas. Good luck!!!

Sometimes I still struggle with hunger even when I add a bit more protein. As long as I get right back on track I do ok. You can do it!

Indeed, Jugshunt71, I'm in Oklahoma! I'm planning to add about 200 calories back tomorrow in the form of chicken breast for dinner and a bit of oatmeal for breakfast, and cut the protein shakes back by 1. Should put me in the 1100 - 1200 calorie range. Then I'll see if I can lose a few more lbs. My short-term goal is 7 lbs by the end of the month. Then I'll re-evaluate. Thanks to everyone who commented, I really appreciate it!
