Snowwhite100's Journal, 15 Jan 22

My husband has torn the dryer apart twice but now there must be a loose wire because there is nothing when we turn the "on" switch. My friend that I take food to after her surgery of removing part of her intestines, caught Covid from a caretaker. She said this is her second week of being sick. I happened to have stayed away because a guy a church won't wear a mask even though his wife now has Covid. I was concerned if I got it from him I would pass it to her. She is as sick as a dog, and must really be "out" of it too. When I told her my dryer was still out since before Christmas, she replied: "Well, as long as you can use it." I didn't bother to correct her, poor soul.
Three weeks ago I bought myself an electric throw at Costco. It was the last one they had. Before I got to the car, I knew in my heart it should go to her. Now that she is so sick and shaking with fever she said it is the only thing that helps her get warm. Thank you, Lord.

Sorry to hear about the dryer. Has he tried watching any YouTube videos to see if that will help him figure out how to fix your dryer? My husband does that a lot because repairman are expensive.

Very generous to share your blanket & help out. I believe when you do good deeds like that it will end up coming back to you in some way because you are putting positivity, kindness and love out. Hope your friend’s health improves and that the dryer can get repaired. 😌

Sounds like you're a very caring, kind, and contentious person. She is lucky to have you. I'll say a prayer for her.

Good for you - listening to the Holy Spirit's prompt to be a blessing to your friend! I think God cares a lot more about stuff like that than whether or not we had a piece of cake.

@Amberlyne331, all you have to do is NOT click on any post or person you don't want to hear from. Note that this entry was in Snowwhite100's PERSONAL JOURNAL, and she can write whatever she wants to in there. Many of us on here care about other people and the things that impact their lives - not just what they are eating. I can use Jesus' name, too -- but I choose to do it, not in an exclamatory way, but in adoration and praise for His goodness to me. @Snowwhite100, you keep on posting anything you want. Many of us here CARE!

@amberlyne331 I agree with you. This is a weight loss app. Not for posting about covid. I just had a friend die after getting her Vax.

The beautiful thing about this app and community is support in all aspects of a person’s weight loss journey. Because what goes on in your life- your mental, physical, and emotional health, your sleep, what and how much you eat, and the health of your loved ones, your day to day, from good to the annoying to the bad all affect your weight; that’s why this app has a journal tab as well as the food diary/log- so you can track your scale and non scale wins and struggles and get support and advice. The other beautiful thing about this app, and any other social media tool, is you are free to choose to scroll past something that doesn’t fit you or you don’t agree with. You can see enough of what someone is saying without tapping the “more” to know that what someone is posting under their own journal is or isn’t for you and your journey. You get to choose not to continue reading, you get to choose to move on and not waste your time or anyone else’s with unnecessary comments. Why waste the time and energy? Just move on. You don’t have to follow someone, and you can even change your setting on who’s journals you see! You can leave it on everyone’s, just yours, featured ones, or just the ones you follow. It’s really simple. Snowhite, I’m praying for your family and your friend, for quick and complete healing. I’m also praying that y’all are able to find out and fix your dryer soon! We just had to replace ours with a new to us one, praying it doesn’t have to go that far for you! ♥️♥️♥️

Most of us are compassionate about our fellow members of this site. Our journals help us share not just our weight loss journey but all the highs and lows of that journey. Many things affect how well we achieve our goals and encouragement from our followers is gives us a must needed boost. Negativity is not helpful and must be avoided. So if you see a post you don't agree with then just keep on scrolling and keep your negative opinion to yourself. Lets support each other!
