38.3% Didnt have time this morning to write much, but then again nothing much happened. Still feel like I'm waiting for the weight to go down again. In saying that I'm not far off my lowest weight 109.7kg I think. Could be beaten in morning. As I write this I'm 24 hrs into a fast and by 1pm tomorrow be about 42 hrs fast before I can eat again.. Hopefully the fasting will kick in the weight loss again. Seriously considering a 72 hour fast soon... more for the autophagy benefits.
110.2 kg Lost so far: 22.7 kg.    Still to go: 2.7 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Hello, hope you don't mind me following you (sounds so stalker-y!) But today was the first time I have seen anyone mention keto and fasting on here (and now I have seen 2 - like the saying about buses). You have done amazingly well! Do you have a regular fasting pattern? I generally follow 18:6 or 20:4 and add in a 48hr fast once a week. Recently I did 67hrs as 'training' towards a 72hr. (While the fasting was not a problem, a couple of days after, weight loss seems to be stalling somewhat) Anyway, its good to know I'm not the only one here who finds that keto and fasting are the way to go. 🙂

Please feel free to follow. Its good to know others experiences. Ive been doing 1 x 48hr fast a week then i tend to do 20:4 or just one meal a day. What ive learnt about 72hr fasts is that whilst they are good for autophagy, for weight loss, not as good. I did do a 6 day fast a few years back and id put all the weight back on within 2 weeks. I agree, and ive told myself ill try 1 x 72hr fast per month, but its more about getting rid of old fat cells. than weight loss. Now ive reached a plateau i might need to do 2 x 48 fasts per week. Lets see how i get on

I am trying to let autophagy do its thing as often as I can, knowing it has benefits outside of weigh loss makes the temporary blip bearable....just☺. Have you seen the '2 fit Docs' channel on youtube? Dr Keith Gillaspy tracks his 80lb weight loss, using keto and fasting. For him a 10 day fast had a long term negative effect on his metabolism, though they do make it clear every body is different. Anyway, I have no doubt you will achieve your goal, you are clearly not a quitter and a pesky plateau will not stop you.

Thanls for comment. Not seen re that 10 day fast, but ive seen on youtube another person doing perhaps 4 or 5 day one, and whilst weight went back to normal they had increased muscle mass. Thanks for support
