DAY 6: GOD IS GOOD! Had a little of an emotional day with the teens son 18 and daughter 17 but God worked it out!!!! Ate some bacon and eggs some coconut milk yogurt and bear Granola maybe 1/4 serving! Inflammation is still going down! Staying within my 16/8 no pain in my hands 🙌🏼 but slightly better in my neck and back some pain there! I drink so much water in a day I’m going to cut back and just do the required amount see if that changes anything! Thinking maybe my one meal can be Mexican love that and praying God will continue to correct my emotions 😊🙏🏼

There are several hydration calculator online which factor in not just gender, height, weight but also exercise, climate, foods eaten. It floored me to learn as I change so do my hydration needs. Best on this journey ✨

Hydration is funny how much it is debated. 4 quarts is enough of liquid per day for an adult I believe my school books say. But I've heard so many doctors and scholars say that I have began to believe it: your body gets thirsty when it needs water. Then drink. I love the idea that I no longer need to log my calories of my water intake but can live like I was made to live. Perfect. 👌

Just to clarify, if your hunger and thirst are out of whack, calculators like SparkkG suggested might be beneficial while you learn to listen to your body.

Best to you!!

SparkkG thank you for the info I will look into it! I’m always drinking water and eating ice. It helps to not keep throwing food in my mouth.

Yohoyoh I’m tracking because even if I only eat when I’m hungry and stay with my caloric intake I’m still gaining but I’m starting to notice that I really only gain drastically when I eat meat. So I’m thinking maybe pescatarian or vegetarian. I’m just now in my pre trials I’ve done what people have suggested now I’m trying to learn my body and works for it!

Qua, that would be odd to gain on meat as meat only eaters are the least fatty of them all. I'm thinking you instead have lots of carbs in your intake still... But you might also be different. Hope you find your way.

Eating ice to stop eating or craving it - this can mean you are low iron ( add cinnamon in your spice and chickpeas). Meat stays in your gut longer so it might just be in the gut weight. I’m a mostly fish girl. But I worked with a nutritionalist to slowly lower my calories to a point I was losing at a good rate.

Yohoyoh I appreciate all of your comments and I have looked into the things that you have suggested. What I don’t like is accusation. There is not still a lot of carbs In My diet I log and I have been looking into the carbohydrates in each thing before I eat as the one man suggested. I love honey crisp apples and I have even given those up I have not had orange juice in over a week international. I am different as I have been explaining I have an autoimmune disease. Look into that and see if you can help with those findings instead of accusing me. The enemy of our souls so that enough. I haven’t had chips bread or anything. What I have noticed is that when I eat meat I do gain and hold on to weight longer so I’m looking into vegetarian and/ or pescatarian diet.

SparkkG I am actually low in my iron always when I get my blood work done. So thank you 😊

Hope this helps. Sharing what I learned from my nutritionalist. Spices the flavorful way of sqatting down diabetes, getting trace minerals included iron: Paprika 1 Tbsp = 1.4 mg iron Thyme 1 Tbsp. = 0.3 mg “ Cinnamon. 1 Tbsp = 0.6 mg “ Ginger. 1 Tbsp = .05 mg “ Black pepper 1 Tbsp = 1.68 mg “ * pipinine help vitamin absorption too Cumin seed 1 Tbsp = 4 mg “ Celery seed 1 Tbsp = 2.9 mg “ Basil. 1 Tbsp = 1.9 “ Marajamon 1 Tbsp = 1.7 mg “ Dry Parsley 1 Tbsp = 0.4 mg l Dill weed 1 Tbsp = 1.5 mg “ Oregano 1 Tbsp = 1.2 mg “ Cayenne pepper 1 Tbsp = 0.4 mg “ Note tumeric is tricky, studies show it blocks iron absorptiom by 20% so best to use it in a meal with out high iron; same with green tea but both has super autoimmune anti inflammatory properties. Tumeric 1 Tbsp = 9.4 mg For comparison: Spinach 1 cup = .08 mg Garbanzo beans 1 cup “ 2.8

SparkkG thank you 🙏🏼 it is because what’s crazy is I almost always use turmeric and green tea because of the anti inflammatory properties. I don’t have a nutritionist and I couldn’t afford one now and my doctor only talks about putting me on meds and not what can help in the long run. So I truly am grateful for all the advice I receive 😊
