The only way losing weight works for me is fasting on 400 calories a day for 2 days and adding everything I eat into FatSecret - before I eat (so I can take some items away if there are too many calories that day). Enter your planned calories even on the non fasting days and you may be encouraged to reduce your calories even on those days. Then keep busy so that you burn off calories and don’t have time to think of food.

I do intermittent fasting. 2 days a week of only 600 calories. Be sensible remaining 5 days and don’t go above what you need. I am losing weight and so much happier. I do understand totally how you feel! I have been so down for being overweight. Still have some way to go but now I’ve stayed in in the zone. Good luck 👍

Hey, my advise it to stick to a reasonable calorie in take, I think you should get your macros calculated as this worked for me. I know how hard it can be I was in the same boat as you, finding myself going the other way but it can be done.

I’m in a similar situation and I’m trying to lose at least a pound and a half each week do you think it’s possible

Thanks Aj I will have to google how to calculate macros. I have not idea Jim though really that should be possible shouldn't it? Does not seem unreasonable

Hi Oyester and Jim, Try the below link; https://www.calculator.net/macro-calculator.html Macros really helped me, I was 130kg and 18months later I’m now at 85kg and by next year I wanna get to 77kg. I do have a vigorous work out routine too, running 15 miles a week and weight training. This combined with my macros worked a treat for me. :)
