wasn't going to weigh myself today. expected it to be bad. had a really good day yesterday. ate on point, got a lot of things accomplished that I wanted to, but....3am came and I had to pee, and the leftover spaghetti of my son's was calling my name. I gave in. I only ate about 2,oz but that's not the point. it was 200 calories and almost all carbs. put some pesto on it so have to figure in fat. blew whole good day's numbers down the tubes.
I did learn a valuable lesson. I have to work with the person I currently am. not the person I should be or hope to be or am striving to be. I have to put practices in place that bolster my strengths and minimize or at least work against my weaknesses. I am a compulsive, impulsive, eater with her poor self control at this point in my life. Just like junk food doesn't come home from the grocery store, and just like I have to portion grapes, cherries out immediately or I will just keep eating till the bag is empty, I had to put all my cut little 2 oz portions of pasta immediately in the freezer. that at least gives me the extra couple of seconds for my mind to tell me to snap out of it the next time I am craving or feeling like night binging. hey, it's not pretty but it works.
93.3 kg Lost so far: 20.1 kg.    Still to go: 13.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
