The only thing I am doing is keeping the carbs low'ish and running 5 miles each day.

I finally have the mental desire to try to keep the carbs low this weekend. If I can not-gain-weight this weekend I may actually get a week over week loss.

😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!

@Debbie Cousins - Thanks. I am just trying to 'not gain weight' while I work up the 'mental energy' to do a 10 day fast. In the past (because I also run) I can drop a pound a day. I just need to get down to 176lbs to collect my money with Healthy Wage, so two 10 day fasts should do the trick...

Remember, you've got six months to get to your goal weight, and even if you get there in much shorter time, you can't do your final weigh-in until two weeks before your deadline date. This was a very appealing feature of the HW challenge for me, because I tend to be able to lose in the short run, but then (historically) put it all back on in short order. Trying to "just not gain weight" is an excellent plan for the long haul. I'm trying to do that, too, while I'm waiting to actually start LOSING some!

@Debbie Cousins - I didn't know that. But, I agree that is a good thing :)
