Are you doing keto? If not, carbs are not crazy but fat is to high. If on keto, well out of my wheelhouse of knowledge.

@Diana 1234 - Thanks! Yeah, in the past, when I lost weight, I only lose when my carbs are <20 a day. So it would be considered "Old Fashioned Atkins" :) - - I am only posting this in my journal to 'kick myself in the butt'. I know there are those that don't agree. I don't care about them 😎

My sister and brother in law lost alot of weight on Atkins. I say do whatever works for you! I follow a high protein (100+g a day) low carb (between 60-75 gs) and lower fat ( around 35-45g) It works for me. I lost 50 ish lbs on it. I still follow it loosely even though I'm in maintenance phase.

It's just my observation that exercise tracking devices are always wrong, in that they over report actual calories burn when we're inactive. In other words, they claim we burned 2000 calories while going about our daily life, but in reality, we probably only killed 1400. If you approach your weight loss as always having to subtract 500 or so calories from the daily burn total, it will likely motivate you to cut calories or add a walk/jog in.

Hi everyone1 Just realized I could track the water I drink daily too! One way I can keep it on my radar.

I am still balancing!! And I sure do make mistakes!! I will start noticing my carbs more because so many things are carbs. Even my veggies. Thanks for the tip!!👍

From what I've read, carbs should stay at between 45-65% of daily intake, fat at 30% and protein should be between 50-91 grams. Fiber should be between 25-30 grams/day which is hard to do. I try to follow these guidelines as much as possible.
