I cut down on the protein powder this week. It appears to have stopped the 'weight gain'. I need to continue to try to be more grateful for things, so I will call this a win.

Next week I will try to go three days during the week of no protein powder. Just to see what happens. The only reason I use it at all (because I am not weight lifting), is to 'fill me up' a bit when I am on my 'liquid only' days.

Did you replace it with anything? You are still doing liquids and solid alternate? I say whatever works for you. Great to see your update and have a happy run. I am supposed to do weights which I usually talk myself out of. But NOT today!!!

@liv001 - Thanks for stopping by (I am grateful for my friends on here!) :) I *did not* replace it with anything so it was a 'mental effort' for me (sigh). I have weights sitting right next to me. 'Mentally' I can't pick them up (so far). Things will change, things are getting better (if only I am getting used to the way life is right now). Take Care!

@Ireland-83 - Thanks! Yes I enjoy my runs for mental and cardio vascular reasons. I am not sure how much they are helping weight loss at this point... but, I guess it doesn't hurt :)
