Got home late last night from Nashville, TN. Had to leave Hubby at the VA Hospital. He was Loopey for the past 4 days from all the sedation meds. Was finally taken off respirator on Tuesday last week and by Wednesday, he was in loopey land. Giving all wrong answers... thought he was at Winn Dixie at one point.. then he thought the dog died... really wierd stuff.
Finally came back to Earth this morning and all afternoon. older son is in Nashville with him for now.
Thank you for all the prayers and support.. I could not have done this one alone.

Do the doctors have any idea on when he will be able to return home with you? I'm still praying. Please take care of yourself and keep us posted.:)

Catch your breath and try to stay rested. You're very fortunate to have a son who's able to stay with your husband for a bit. Do take care of yourself and be careful out on the roads as you travel back and forth. More prayers coming your way.

Barbara, I am glad to hear that he is doing better. I have been praying for you both. Thank God your son is able to help you by staying with him for a few days. Take care of youself, and know that I am sending up more prayers!
