study your macros. i never lose weight on caloric deficit, i lose weight when i cut down on carbs. everyone's body is different and you could try experimenting with more protein or fats or carbs.

it's both extremely frustrating and interesting!

I've tried losing weight for yrs every diet possible. In late 2015 I was asked to walk my daughter down aisle.... Using fat secret app I lost 7 stone to do just that in Sept 2017. However my father passed away horrifically in April 2017 which I hadnt mentally had time to process because I focused on wedding. I gained by July 2018, 2 stone back on so I joined slimmers world. I lost 2.5 stone in the first 2 mths and then yo yoed from Sept 18 till Feb 19 so i then decided SW wasn't for me. I gave up and then threw myself into quitting smoking... Menopause also decided to raise her ugly head, and emotionally I believe I have blamed all these occurances on me having gained back everything I first lost when using this app. I know I have such a long road to go. I do a 10 mile walk each week across country with a friend and do 30 min walk either outside or on treadmill daily. I will succeed one way or another. Thank you all for your support

Try to cut back on carbs (25-30% max, 35-40% fats “good ones” 30-35% protein.

I'm no nutritionist. But I'd recommend you to maybe do some research on a low carb or ketogenic diet. Read into it and watch YouTube videos, there's tons of delicious low carb meals that you can prepare and enjoy while losing weight. That's how I started out, i tried losing weight my whole life. But it was always driven from wrong emotions due to criticism and bullying at school, and every other month I'd decide to starve myself, and I'd cave in after a few hours binging harder than before. It's only when i turned 19 that i decided to lose weight properly and it led me to really start studying what is it that i was eating and why was it that i was gaining weight. And that's precisely when i actually started losing weight for the first time in my life!

Omar is right, focus on whole foods. Anything packed, frozen and boxed is a big no. So try keeping that as a benchmark. You could try water based vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers and lettuce, you can take so much of those and it's low carb. Eggs and chicken are really good source for fat and protein.

Cutting carbs works for me

I do eat all things fresh, home grown too where possible I actually like to cook and also do it for a living.... Lol so sorry no ready meals or pre jarred nonsense here I'm afraid and most those carbs are from fresh fruit and vegetables. Proteins are from my own eggs and I tend to eat white meats or fish. I've reduced bread but have been having bran based cereals. Everything is oven baked. I'm a nutritionists worst nightmare. I don't eat sweet stuff and also eat whole grained where possible. I do have whole milk how ever and a fair bit of natural yogurts.

By carbs I mean bread, pasta and potatoes really. Carbs from fruit and veg are generally fine 🙂

Weight is usually one day and can vary by up to 3 kg. It is important to keep calories down, but the most important thing is "what to eat?" And every human being will definitely become BMI23 only by managing the diet. Personally recommended PFC balance "High protein, low fat, medium carbohydrates" "Green and yellow vegetables + fermented food" Especially green and yellow vegetables and fermented foods are important for improving and maintaining the intestinal environment. [Important things to lose weight] "Chew well and eat" "Sleep for about 8 hours" It is not good to lose weight suddenly, so it is recommended to aim for -10kg after one month. Let's go slowly ▽°|b✨

Hi pawz1, if you have used this App before and lost 7 stone! (Fantastic achievement!) then I am sure that you will be able to do it again!! Weight can fluctuate, don't be too concerned about it. Keep going! You can do it! ........I wanted to ask you if you don't mind........have you ever had a Thyroid blood test? I have Hypothyroidism and I can tell when I need an increase in my Medication as I put weight on! Underactive Thyroid causes weight gain! Just a thought..... I also have tried every diet out there and with little success. I am very hopeful about this one! I'm doing Keto. Take care xx

yo fam, I'm not imposing my lifestyle down on anybody, really i actually don't lose weight on a calorie deficit unless and until I cut down on carbs. In all honesty, I just wanted to elaborate how one thing just can't work on everyone as far as weightloss is concerned. Perhaps English isn't my first language, hence I'm truly failing to understand what is it exactly that's moronic about these people in the comments doing nothing else besides trying to help and give advice.
