OMG! All those hunger pangs late at night were justified. Although I am hitting my calorie target daily, the days that I do not record must be under, or I cannot explain this. I have not been toilet and I weighed in holding my mobile. No wraps of course as my little princess helper is still asleep, so that is as genuine a weight as can be. Today I touched my double chin and was able to go from jaw to jaw and cup it with one hand. Amazing! Yet yesterday when I made a video to send my family my chin looked enormous and I was disappointed that my face looks like a badly baked muffin. Also I am more aware of the skin/bulk under my chin but this is just because it is now pliable, if that makes sense.

So I had to drop the vegan diet because I was getting incredible muscle cramps and also because the supermarkets do not have many specialist products on the shelves - seems the panic buyers are all vegan. LOL Part of me is sad that I cannot do the full 7 week Lent fast, but my priest said I can fast another day which I never knew was a thing but OK.

Oh... I was also diagnosed with Covid-19. Been having low grade fever, chills, small bouts of coughing - usually at night - and a wet (not runny) nose and a sore throat. So now we are in quarantine and yesterday I was crazy for some chocolate. CRA-ZY! But I managed to limit myself to one spoon of chocolate spread and that is because I was aware of double dipping risks.

My kind neighbour just dropped shopping on my patio. I am excited to see what he was able to find, bless his soul! Though one neighbour gave me the virus, another one is saving the day. :)

take care of yourself and your family. I'd imagine nutrition is more important than weight loss at this time.

I find cocoa powder, like you use in cooking, unsweetened, gives you a chocolate hit. Add sweetener if needed. Makes a good mocca as well. No added calories as 1 teaspoon hardly registers. Fabulous start for you.

Amazing weight loss. Don't focus on it for now though. Your body needs lots of energy to fight the virus. Eat and drink plenty. Try get lots of things like thyme and oregano in your diet as they will help support your immune system. If you have tea tree oil, use that too. Put it on the bottom of your feet and it will get where it needs to go. Clove and eucalyptus will help too. Better again, if you have doTERRA essential oils, use them. I use them all the time and they are amazing! Hope you get better quickly.
