Was so glad to have a small apple last night and it didn't seem to affect my maintenance. When out to lunch today I took a small splurge because of my weight being low. I'm sure tomorrow it will be up. Lunch was so big I didn't eat dinner.
47.4 kg Lost so far: 6.5 kg.    Still to go: 0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Each morning after I have fed my dogs their kibble, I give them apple that I have cut up. One dog is finicky, and for years I've taken a bite of her apple piece before offering the rest of each piece to her. I now look forward to my morning apple. I buy orgainic Gala, or Fuji if they happen to be cheaper. The grocery stores seem to contain mostly gigantic apples these days, so a half a gigantic apple feeds both dogs and me. The calories are really not that many, and I feel good about getting one delicious fruit each day at the beginning of the day. I also like grapefruit in season, which has next to no calories. I'm fortunate to have friends with grapefruit trees who share their bounty with me occasionally. The grapefruit that ripen longer on the trees are amazingly sweet - no extra sugar required. Yum!
