Day 3 of a planned 5 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting

Nice to see the scale ‘moving’ 👍🏾

The ‘formula’ now appears to be 🍴 Fasting and then 🏃🏾‍♂️ Running.

Apparently I need to do both together.

I did a run yesterday. Let me tell you, before I started running I was tired. I did not want to run. It was 6:30am and my metabolism had slowed to a crawl. This is when I think the running is most effective. It is also why weightlifting would not be a good idea for me when my body is in such a tired state.

But, once I start running, my body is no longer tired. I feel great!

I have plenty of energy, my body simply did not want to use it, but, once I start running, it is forced to use it, so it finds it, in the only place that it has it, in my fat.

Face it, Cardio-Burns-A-Lot-Of-Fat-And-Calories.

However, today I won’t get a chance to run. So, I might as well just go back to my protein shakes during the day. If I can’t run, the scale wont move, so why deprive myself? I will play it by ear...

😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!

That's great! You certainly know what and when you need to get it done. 😊

@TaraJ5387 - On normal days my calories are around 1200 a day. This is *plenty* for a 50 year old man. Liquid diets have been around for a long time, so I don't think I am 'breaking any new ground' in that regard :) Now running is 'pushing things' but, it's hard to make the scale move when you are already down to 20% body fat :)

@Becc@ - Thanks! - - let's see what decision I make today :) Each day I 'actually get something done' is just a 'blessing' and usually 'dumb luck' Haha!

Decided to only drink water during the day today. Let's see if the 'scale moves'... I plan to run tomorrow morning either way :)

Feel envious, as I sit in the "recovery prison" right now. The joy of having the blood pump on high is fantastic. Early morning run. Yum. Out of prison tomorrow. Can't wait. Great fun to hear about your new hack. It never get boring.

@Diddlee - I am 'paying a price 'by not allowing for 'sufficient recovery' after my runs.

Adef, how long has it taken to figure out what works for you? Your journal entries are incredibly interesting. Thanks for sharing.
