Snowwhite100's Journal, 15 Apr 19

We went out to lunch after church yesterday as usual, and as usual I gained weight. I had fish and vegetables in a garlic sauce, and hot and sour soup, but no rice or fried wontons. It's probably the sauce that does it. But the bigger rise yesterday is because I had a carton (5oz) of yougart in the evening plus going over (1,300) my calories with salad, cheese, ham and that yougart late. I haven't had yougart in many months. At this low weight, I have to be very strict if I want to stay down. One hundred ten is wonderful, but I have been having a little splurge too often: potatos, pasta, sauces, and now yougart. One solution would be to fast longer, but I get sooo hungry, and then dizzy. If I stop the splurges, it will be okay. It always sounds funny to me, when I gain a pound one day, and then a day or two later, if I'm down that same pound, to be told what a great job I'm doing. Maybe it's just water, or my gut. Oh yes, the lunch yesterday, being Chinese food, always has too much salt. It will be better in a couple of days. How many people are going to tell me what a great job I am doing, just because the salt dissipates. Ha ha. I love you all!

You ARE doing a great job Snowy, whether you are up or down. You are very conscientious about what you eat, and do a great job under tremendously stressful circumstances.

Asian food is very high on sodium. That could be the cause. Keep that yogurt. It's good for your stomach. I am a fan of plain nonfat Greek yogurt. Just add some cinnamon, nuts, or a little fruit. It's up to you.
