Day 1 of a planned 1 days of eating
Blood sugar 96 mg/dL

Went for 🏃🏾‍♂️ a 10k run yesterday. Finally hit 164lbs. I am 5’8” so this is my BMI weight 👍🏾

This is only the second time in my adult life I have hit this weight.

I tend to believe that my 'motivation' is based on my 'greatest fear'.

Right before I turned 50, my greatest fear went from 'feeling like I am starving' to 'being fat all my life'. After, I hit my current weight that 'fear', and therefore that 'motivation' was gone.

However, my current 'greatest fear' is that 'if I don't get ripped abs right now, I will never be able to ever do it in my life'. That is the ONLY reason I am 'digging in' again to drop down to 15% body fat. That is what is required to even 'see' my abs.

However, today I am planning an EPIC 🍗 Kentucky Fried Chicken Feast!

This is my reward for sticking to ‘no solid food’ for 6 days. The plan is to get a family bucket of chicken (no sides!) and only eat chicken all-day-long. I want to wait as late in the day as possible to ‘start’ so I hope to hold out until 3:00pm. However, once it starts, it will be “Chicken and Netflix” until bedtime.

Back on the diet on Monday…

@tiffany1908 - Ohhh I considered 'KFC Grilled Chicken'! It has almost zero carbs! However, I just don't 'enjoy' it enough, and my REAL problem is protein. My blood sugar levels have shown me that high protein spikes me almost as much as high carbs :( The protein in the KFC grilled chicken is the same as the 'carby skin' version. So, I decided to 'just take the carb hit' since 'the protein will do me in anyway' (sigh)

@liv001 - Thanks! I already put in my 'expected eating' and so far I am at: 2960 calories | Fat: 182.00g | Prot: 252.00g | Carb: 82.00g. That much 'excess protein' is gonna be stored as fat in my liver...

@PrincessValerie and I just discussed it and realized that it will take an entire bucket of chicken to meet *my current 'plan'* so I will need to get her a combo meal so she has something to eat...

...It's 2:00pm and I *still* haven't eaten anything. About to go on a 7 mile run. I may be able to hold out until 4:00pm :) As a reward I switched my 'KFC planned food' from 'original recipe' to 'Extra crispy' (as in 'Extra carby'!). I am sure the anticipation is the best part...

@Becc@, @Keilin_4 - Thanks. The 'run' just 'bit the dust :( I'm still working on code for a presentation so I have to finish it rather than going for my run (sigh)
