Day 1 of a planned 2 days of eating
Blood sugar 99 mg/dL

My goal today (and tomorrow) is --try to gain as few pounds as possible--

🌟 Carbs below 60
🌟 Protein below 100

If I succeed in keeping my carbs below 60 today there is no way for me to consume more than 2,000 calories. But, my past data has shown, when I get my carbs past 120, I usually consume 3,000+ calories.

Now, I should keep my carbs below 20, but, my past data shows that, when I eat, that never happens. So, my ‘goal’ is based on what I have been able to do, on a good day, in the past.

There is ☔ rain for the next two days so I won’t get to run 😒

On the weekends, running was not just a good way to burn some calories, and drop some water weight, but, the 3 hours of getting ready, running, showering, resting, was 3 hours I would not eat and was not hungry. Put this smack in the middle of the day and I could find myself, at 6:00pm, with less than 20 carbs heading into dinner…

But, today… it’s gonna be a challenge…

I always encourage people to log ALL their food. This way, when they want to tweak their program to achieve their goals, they can look at the data and decide what to change based on what they are doing, rather than what they ‘think’ they are doing.

After 6 years on Fat Secret, when I started logging EVERYTHING daily I started losing weight.

Crazy weather in SoCal!!! We are attending a wedding today...at their house. It was scheduled for outside. Hopefully the rain will stop for them!!

Yup, I need to log! I think once I get to maintenance one day I won't have to log on keto. But if I say carbs I will definitely have to log. Enjoy your weekend! 👍 you got this!

You're so right because after posting daily I came down from 190 to 179 as of this morning! 🎉 I jog thru the house as I do my work, lol!

...found a break in the ☔ rain and got a 🏃🏾‍♂️ run in 👍🏾. Now at 8 carbs heading into dinner..
