Day 5 of a planned 5 day ‘no solid food’ fast
Blood sugar 94 mg/dL

Gained a pound 😜

Had some work and personal issues yesterday so I did not do my planned run or get to the gym. Because of stress, I hit the protein drinks in heavy cream really hard at nearly 1200 calories. Worse, I had to stay up late to complete a last minute project.

I will probably lose this water weight by tomorrow, but, of course this was ‘not my plan’. However, this ‘no solid food’ fast thing works better when I exercise hard at the same time.

The rain hasn’t started yet, but, if I can drag my tired butt out in the cold, I will try to get a run in before work.

I wanted to do something positive, did 70 pushups using good form 😊

You know why you have a weight. And you know that it is only water. But does not working out affect? I do not go out for running every day. Sometimes I stayed home for a week without running out or even gem. Just some activity at home. When I get away from carp and intermittent fasting 20:4 hours down weight and control appetite. I actually learn from your experience and your post. I love the last one always. Raises morale

@Nadeens diet - I'm trying to drop 1-2 pounds a day :) For that, I need to get off my butt and 'sweat' :)

@nikeit - Thanks! Today I DID do my run. But, last night I went to bed late and pounded 300 calorie protein shakes because I was stressed and under a deadline. The good part was that, because I am on only 'liquids', the 'damage' was 'minimal'. But, I was still basically overeating late at night. Well... see what happens... ;)
