I started a new job 2 weeks ago as a RN in the ER and it’s allowed me to be on a day shift! Whoever says sleep patterns don’t matter when it comes to weight loss is crazy! I haven’t been able to work out in 2 weeks due to 12hr days 5 days a week and then all the family obligations on the weekends due to the holidays and yet this has been the biggest loss I’ve had yet! I feel great, I feel confident and I feel oh so proud!! 💪🏼☺️ this week I get to head back to the gym as I’ll be working only 3 12hr shifts a week now!! 😬
86.1 kg Lost so far: 24.2 kg.    Still to go: 22.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

nurses are great. good for you. being a nurse is hard enough. in an ER it can be real hectic.

Sleep is super important. I get up 2a for work periodically for a few weeks at a time and those weeks absolutely kill everything. I’m constantly hungry which most likely really is fatigue or thirst. My sleep is off so I can’t exercise like I normally do. My periods go crazy. Being a nurse isn’t easy. Congrats on day time shifts. You’ll be back to “normal” in no time.
