Day 4 of a planned 5 day ‘no solid food’ fast
Blood sugar 93 mg/dL

39 pushups 2019 PUSH UP Challenge!

2019 PUSH UP Challenge (Overall leaderboard)

I feel like I can do 45 pushups… I think. If I can do that now, when I get up to that level in 6 days, perhaps I could do more? However, the thought of getting all the way up to 60+ (assuming I keep doing 1 more pushup a day) seems impossible at this point. But, who knows…

It is 🌧 raining in Los Angeles so I can’t go for my usual 🏃🏾 5 mile runs and 3 mile walks. It looks like I wont get my usual 4-5 pound weekday loss. At this point I estimate I will only be down 3 pounds on Saturday. This means I *really* don’t want a huge gain this weekend. So, I am now motivated to ‘no solid food’ fast on Saturday. I will just ‘take the calorie hit’ of 3-4 pounds from the dinner party planned on Sunday. Hopefully next week will allow me to get back to my normal schedule.

📅 The rest of December will be about cutting fat. I wont try increasing the 🏋🏾 weight I lift until I get down to 165lbs. Not being fat is more important to me than having a 💪🏾 sculptured body. I would feel differently if I were younger, but as a 50 year old man, I have to ask myself “What are you trying to do exactly?” 😊

😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!
