Day 1 of a planned 2 day ‘no solid food’ fast
Blood sugar 100 mg/dL

27 pushups (2019 PUSH UP Challenge!)

The good news is that I did not hit 180lbs. For whatever reason that is a phycological limit that, in my mind, separates 'weight fluctuation' from being fat again.

If I do lose this Thanksgiving holiday weight, and I don't get fat again, I'm putting it out there right now it wont be because of 'willpower'. What I have is 'willingness'. The two words are practical opposites of each other.

I have 'willingness' to return to 'no solid food' fasting. If I am able to do this, it will be because I am 'blessed'. If I am unable to, I will continue to try different things, until I find something I can do.

@Keilin_4 - I need to still make it to Monday! Once I get to Monday I will go back to 'no solid food' fasting 5 days a week... until Christmas. But, Sunday we have "Holiday Plans"...

Oh ok, enjoy! I know that you can do it! 😎 I am on a 8 days holiday , eating and not exercising, I am sick and hungry,😷🙁😂 whit no scale, I will do a 1200 calories diet next week starting on Tuesday

I am going to do the IF 16/8 DRY FASTING next week, it's easier than water fasting and you lose weight faster, I swear 😀

@Keilin_4 - Dry Fasting? I have no doubt it would work, but, I have a hard time even 'water fasting' for more than a day! :) I'm a 'wuss'. I have no tolerance for 'discomfort' Haha

With DF you don't get hungry and you will not die😉, there are a lot of people doing that around the world. and with 6-8 windows eating I still exercise, just not cardio because I will sweat a lot .

@Keilin_4 - I have dry fasted for about 6 hours. Very invigorating. I just love to do cardio while fasting, so that is of course the reason I have to always at least 'water fast' (with electrolyte supplements). I plan to hit the gym and do a 7 mile run today. If all I have is protein shakes I should be able to drop 1-2 pounds tomorrow...

That is true, and you enjoy running 😀, I like to walk but not with cold weather

good for you and you do what works for you, that is the beauty of each journey we have to find the way that works for us!

@Baskington - Yeah, and I am a 'one trick pony' :) The only thing that seems to work for me is fasting. I have worked out hard at the gym 4 out of the past 5 days. It has done nothing for weight loss :) I'm sure it is great for my 'bulking' however :)

just muscle bulking. LOL! got enough to fuel you for a couple days.

@Baskington - The 'bulking' did work. My biceps are noticeably bigger :) - - The big change is that I am now willing to de-load on the weights if I need to, rather than 'carbing up' to maintain my current 200lbs lifts. I have seen too many people who make a slight 'miscalculation' on the 'bulk' and end up 20lbs higher than they would want to be :)

good for you, research is your friend plus you have Chris to help you. He has been doing well with his research and he is ex keto which gives him a perpective a lot of others don't have for your fasting/low carb lifestyle.
