Drink as much coffee as humanly possible ??? LOL. I would be good at that. Hope your day get a better than ants and cat cleanup. I usually get my keto flu on day 3.

@liv usually I only can drink 1.5 mugs... but today I’ll be needing an IV of it and gallons.
I am thinking it’s a mix of keto flu, nerves, anxiety, exhaustion, toxic air quality from all the fires and the weather changes. But I feel cranky and blahhhh...
But good news I drank a ton of water the last few days and my belly feels much flatter and less bloated today!
I was eating potatoes all weekend because I knew the diet started Monday 🤦♀️🤪 which I regret!

The fires must be hard. My strategy when starting this diet it to eat. Lots of fat but keep carbs under 20. It calms me down and then when ketosis hits the eating will level out a bit

@liv good advice.
I have been on and off keto for about 16 months now. (Mostly off)
My youngest was still sleeping, so I ended up crawling back into her bed and napped. I feel MUCH better!
I have learned it is much better to nap and rest than it is to complain about being tired. Why go about your day miserable if you have the opportunity to get more rest!! Also I have learned proper sleep helps with losing weight!

@liv001 my strategy in the past is to start it back up again when I know I’m really busy and not home as much. But keep coffee, veggies, cheese snacks, eggs, bacon, pickles and nuts on hand. And then at dinner time I just omit the carbs, last night I made buttery garlic broccoli with tri tip, and everyone else also had fully loaded baked potatoes 😩

Sounds like you got it.
forget potatoes :) Broccoli is so much better
I sometimes make a cauliflower dish that kind of resemble baked potatoes.
Partially cooked small bits of cauliflower
Mix of cream cheese, cheddar cheese and sour cream (spices)
Baked that for about 20 minutes. Top with pieces of bacon, chopped green onions, more cheddar bake a bit till cheddar melts

Thanks ches!!! We are moving less than a mile but packing all our stuff and putting it in storage and everything has been a challenge... in the last fifty days I broke my tail bone, fractured bones in my foot, sprained a finger, threw out my back and the weather is so dry that my skin and sinuses are freaking out. My hands and nose are cracking no matter how much Shea butter and lotions I use
😭🙄🤦♀️
I hope you have a good vacation! What are your plans?

Florida bound!!!! I hope my head cold clears before then because I flew one year with a bad head cold and during decent, my head felt like it was going to explode and I couldn't hear for 4 hours.

Ches drink sole solution!!! Have you ever used a neti pot? Also dry rice in a sock, microwave it in short spurts until very warm, then use for sinus and ear pain! Also google lymphatic drainage head massage for head colds!!!

Happy to hear that your life is settling down, at least as far as the residence is concerned. May everything go smoothly.
