Going well but Bex has tickets booked here and back for next week so this run will have to come to an end. It's as well to do short runs to learn. I'm not sure when to break the fast, late tonight (chips!) or tomorrow morning with a mix of meat stock and pressure cooked pork scratchings I have prepared already. We'll wait and see what the smell of the chippy does for me tonight :-) Nice little run though and with Bex deffo coming and going next week, after that I can get more serious. I'm wondering how deep into it I have to go to promote autophagy, which will take care of the inevitable loose skin. I'm reading up on this, what literature there is, and will know more later. The important lesson seems to be that it's preferable to loose your loose skin, post-fatloss, with fasting rather than surgery. This is a relatively new idea to me but it makes sense. If the only nutrients the body has available it can afford to use are in that excess skin which is flapping around, well, it'll use them in preference to, say, using protein from your heart muscle. Anyway, onwards and downwards :-)
