Week 1 post op has been easier in some ways but harder in others. I know my stomach is smaller now and I’m on a clear liquid diet so nothing stays there for long but I’ve been struggling with staying full however realistically I’ve only been eating 100-400calories a day but getting anywhere from 60-100gms of protein daily via liquids. But on the physical aspect I’m kicking ass and taking names! Have walked everyday including day of surgery, though it took a week to get to it today I hit 2miles in 44minutes at a pace of 3-3.4mph it feels great and I can feel my body healing and changing already!! Gastric sleeve surgery was the right choice for me & I’m so grateful for this new tool helping me become a healthier, happier and more confident me!
