I'm not real proud of my self right now. When I get away from FS it seems I go back to my old eating habits. Everything it seems is against me eating right and staying healthy.
1) I have a son who can't gain weight and he needs the carbs just to maintain his weight, he is 5'6" and weighs 130 lbs with less than 5% body fat so my husband and I can't just cook for us we have to think of him.
2) Doesn't help the days I go from my full time to my part time job I have no time to eat during my part time job. My husband brings me food but it always comes back home with me at 10:30 pm.
3) I don't get off my full time job until 5 and my husband is already cooking dinner when I get home so I don't have near the say on what we are having. I try to heated up frozen broccoli or cauliflower in substitute from what they are having or replacing some of the carbs with salad.

We all have our struggles and everyone(s) are different. Wouldn't it be nice if we could conquer our struggles and be in a happy place. One day at a time is my motto and if I fail that day I always tell myself there is always tomorrow. Sometimes it's one step forward and two steps backwards but hey I will get there.

On a positive note it's a new week and a new beginning one day at a time. Have a great week.

Hello, have you looked into meal prepping? I find it easier that way!

It’s hard to balance family, jobs, and finding the time for your health. Sometimes I have a stick of cheese before i leave the office at 5 so when I get home I am not as hungry and have a few minutes to prep a low carb something. I have to cook for my family every night (husband requires meat, starch and gravy every meal), but I eat the low carb piece of dinner (meat) or some leftover that is carb friendly.
