Day 5 of a planned 5 day fast

Well I did it, I managed to get back to the exact same weight I was 13 days ago :) I dropped from 181 to 178 in one day by not taking my normal high dose of "Hi Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate" https://amzn.to/2sU5G38 and bringing my carbs below 10 carbs a day.

I checked my blood glucose several times during the day and I was in the 70s. After my lunchtime walk I even dropped down to 66. However, I felt lethargic during the day. I will resume using the Hi Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate and just deal with the water retention. The first 3 days of this fast I used it in high doses I have not had any 'uncomfortable adjustments' that usually accompany a fast.

I look way thinner in the mirror. I recently bought "FatTrack GOLD Digital Body Fat Caliper with FREE MyoTape" https://amzn.to/2tMwrHh and it says I have a 24% body fat. I want to have at least a 20% body fat so my new weight goal is 171. If I get there I will decide if I want to go to 15% body fat. If I do then I may set my goal weight lower.

Next week I plan to fast but I plan to eat on Wednesday because it is July 4th and there is a BBQ planned. This weekend I plan to eat, but for the first time I plan to eat LCHF. I'm so over gaining a bunch of weight on my refeeds.

Heck yeah man!! LCHF is where it’s at! I do miss a lot of different foods that I use to eat but most of it I will never eat again. It’s garbage and my body definitely felt like garbage when I ate it.

@CrashtestDawnie - I'm trying! Pain is a motivator, and a 10 pound gain on a 4 day re-feed, that was sloooow to come off, has 'motivated' me to make some changes :)

Cool that you explain, 15% isn't for everybody, some keep exhausted of keeping that amount of fat. I'm can't tell so much, I'm just in Normal BMI but, do whatever makes your body and yourself happy :)

@RosaniSánchez - I totally agree! I will 'wait and see' what 20% body fat looks like then decide if a lower body fat is worth the effort. I am listing weights so that will probably be the biggest factor in my decision. If my weight lifting continues to look good I may decide having abs is worth it.

I'm rethinking my goal too, but the same first see how my body will be with my "dream weight"
