Day 9 of a planned 11 day fast

A huge thank you to all who responded to my rant yesterday on the fast haters :)

I almost broke the fast yesterday. I had it in my mind that I wanted a bag of Cheetos. The desire wasn't strong, but after so many days I was more tired of 'not eating' than I wanted 'to eat'. I think the fact that I did not lose any weight the previous day took a lot of motivation away that I normally would have. I know it was a day for my body to lose inches.

I work in a 2 story building and I rarely see the people downstairs. Well, I had to go down there yesterday and 4 different people stopped me asking how I lost so much weight. While Dr. Fung advises you not to tell people you're fasting, because they will try to talk you out of it, I was lucky that people just listened to me.

I told people that most people on my website (this site, Fat Secret) do Keto and that it works, I just screw up because I don't stick to the 20 carbs. Most could not believe me when I said I still had 20 pounds to lose to get to a normal BMI, but very few 50+ year old people where I work have a normal BMI. It's just not done. Anyway, I just pointed them all to Keto. Fasting is too scary to them and I understand.

Anyway, turns out I meant to do a 12 day fast not an 11 day fast. But, hey I'm sticking to the 11 days :) So, the 11 day fast ends on Thursday (and I actually break the fast that night). I will eat low carb on Thursday and only have the Cheetos on the weekend. Come Monday I am back on the fast.

GREAT! 😊 I don't talk about intermittent fasting with nobody neither, they are going to say that I am killing myself haha , I told my husband but he doesn't listen, he don't care about "diets" now I tell him that I am not longer eating breakfast. You are doing a great job. People are going to judge you anyway.

Yes, people like to snidely judge any and everything, other people generally suck.

LOL, I dreamt the other night that I ate a whole bag of Cheetos and I don't even like them!

@JMA312 - I know right!? Big Mac's are my food but for some reason I got Cheetos in my head. Am I 'really hungry'? Or is it just a mental obsession (for no good reason)? Had I not been on a fast I would have gone to the vending machine at work and simply eaten the 330 calorie 40 carb bag. Done. I wouldn't even think about it. My blood sugar would spike and I would have REAL hunger two hours later...
