Turns out I'm doing intermittent fasting not even knowing that!
So my last meal is before 6pm and first meal around 9am next day.
Plenty of water/herbal tea in between and during eating window.
Didn't realise until I red an article about it this morning 🙂

It might sound crazy, but I'm reading - keeps my head and hands occupied 😉 Around 8pm I'm drinking my herbal tea and going to bed 10-10:30pm As I wasn't even aware I'm doing it, I don't really have any expert tips - it's just happening! Fingers crossed for your water intake this week Gary! 🤞🤞

I'm a night-hawk and the worst time for the siren call of nibbles for me was between 22:00 and 23:30. Now if I hear that call I have a drink of water, sometimes with no added sugar cordial, it's amazing how that seems to kill the cravings. I think that I'd just got into the habit of snacking at that time. Now after 4 months of not allowing myself to submit to the munchies I hope/believe I've broken the habit. My fast time is between 20:00 and 12:00 noon and seems to work for me.

I was the same. didn't realise I was doing it. I have breakfast around 10.30 am and try to have my last meal before 6pm. much earlier on the weekends. finding I only need to eat twice a day too. it's nice too cos if I go shopping I know I won't break my diet by having a sub way or bad of chips cos I don't look for food other than these set times. 😊

It's really quite easy when you get into it, isn't it? @Gary - try to do something other than what you usually do when you nibble is the best advice I can give. Not much help if you usually sit and watch TV though, I appreciate that. Maybe put a picture of your non-food reward where your nibbles live? eg a photo of the motorbike you've promised yourself if you lose weight. Or the new shoes or clothes. A clear reminder of why you're doing it might help stay your hand. Definitely water helps though. Good luck to you both!

Gary I bought a 2.2 litre bottle and fill it every morning and usually gone around lunchtime. ( not today cos still in bed) it goes down quickly if you have a glass every half hour or so. I find the bottle really motivates me to drink more. good luck 😊
