Beautiful day here. Cold, clear, dry and calm. Yesterday we had heavy snow, but it was too wet, after several days of rain, for it to lie. There is a little snow lying on the east slopes of West Lomond. We were out for a supermarket shop today (we just shop as normal over the holidays. No need for the over shopping most people do), and it was nice to get out.
Christmas Day was spent at my step-daughter's so that was an hours drive down, then the same back. Roads were surprisingly busy.
Weight is just spiralling up, but I'll worry about it after all the goodies are finished and life returns to normal.

Ditto Jocko. We try to shop as normal as we can. We might add a few cheese biscuits and extra cheese for unexpected quests. I do find that people like a few roast potatoes and I cut up large sausages into bite sizes, so they can have something to eat with a drink. This is more convenient for me as we always have these foods in our cupboards. I hate buying treats such as mince pies and the like and end up throwing them.in the bin.
The weather is sunny and crisp here too. Have a restful day buddy ⛅

I know what you mean Jocko. I am going normal food shopping on Thursday.
I am still too scared to get on the scales yet, as i think i will be very shocked!

Popped out to my local supermarket today - I had to steel myself, they had so many of the Christmas foods and gifts at half price or less - KP maple coated peanuts with dark chocolate chunks were down from £3 to £1 ! 2 packs went into my basket (I do have some guests tomorrow) but then I was very very good and put both back on the shelf. Anyway my point is it is a brave brave dieter that dares the supermarkets straight after xmas - Jocko, Mrs M, Bowd, I salute you all (and myself)!

You guys have me drooling. I just realized I still have yogurt covered pretzel Christmas trees left. Uh oh! It's pretty here, too. Sun is shining. Let's get those goodies out of the house!!!
