Had a couple of wee malts last night. It is a couple of weeks since I enjoyed a dram. I am a lover of malt whisky, but I have to limit my intake these days. I always allow 24 hours "bottle to throttle" and add to that the calories (or more importantly "the kebab effect" that alcohol has), seriously limits my pleasure. The two glasses of Bruichladdich I had last night were added to my calorie count, and I had nothing to eat with or after, so it was all above board. The car is in the garage until tomorrow morning so everything is fine.

Well done :)
No guilt or real sacrifice, pure pleasure and enjoyment. And satisfaction of the self control perhaps. I bet it worked better than before too... I know it does with me.... Less is more!

Ooh, Bruichladdich! So good, one of my favourites as well, along with Laphroaig and Glenmorangie. Enjoying it in moderation, and above board, is "having it all" in the best way. :)

I love my Islay malts. Ardbeg is my favourite, currently working my way (slowly) through their Uigeadail. Superb.

Hadn't had any of the special Ardbeg bottlings - that one looks just wonderful.
