Good morning and happy new week everyone.
I took it easy with no exercise or logging foods over the weekend but rest assured, It's a new me. I started the weekend with a smoothie in the Ninja and made more good than bad choices over the weekend. The scale shows today.
The new me also won a Workweek Hustle Fitbit challenge. It is a challenge between you and your fitbit buddies who accept the challenge to see who can do the most steps between Monday 12 am and Friday midnight. I won it with an amazing Eighty Six Thousand plus steps. I pretty much walked like Forrest Gump did in the movie EVERY DAY at work and when I got home. This week I will have a lot less miles because I will start a 24 week training plan for a half marathon in July. I must be crazy! The 1st week of the plan only has 6 miles of interval walk - jogs with rest days factored in and it is designed for those who can at least walk 2 miles without stopping. I am there. Bring it on.
I tried to do a 24 hr fast starting Saturday evening but only made it 19 hrs. Not bad. I will do probably do 16:8 fasts in the future and my next attempt of a 24hr fast will be during the weekday where I don't have to be home while tasty meals are being prepared.
I will log my weight this Wednesday staying true to logging it 1 x week as I shared that intention last week although I really want to enter my weight today because it has gone done since last week Monday.
Make it count everyone.
