Happy Friday afternoon!

This is my off week for exercise. Unfortunately it turned into an off week for my diet as well. A couple of over days and above the carbs I wanted for this week since I wasn't working out. The oatmeal raisin cookies my wife made keep calling my name. The good thing is that they are almost gone.

I did have some NSV though. I can now fit in a large t-shirt/sweatshirt. Before I started on my diet I was at 3X. Also I can see the muscle striations on my quads. I'm happy about both.

I was supposed to take the entire week off of exercise but I went ahead and signed up for a 5K race tomorrow. I'm going to really push myself to see what I can do. We'll see how it goes with such a short distance.

google C25K (cOUCH TO 5 K) Really good plan and I ran for 25 mins today with out stopping or having a heart attack double win in my books .

Good luck with the 5K and CONGRATS on the NSV!! You're diet vacation is a familiar refrain among us this time of year (myself included).

edit about. I can I can wear 3x now. Someday maybe I can buy off the retail racks again and not the fat stores.

Way to go on the running! Do you HAVE to stop exercising? What if you were to do some yoga or Pilates to keep limber and stretchy? Can't eat while you're in downward facing dog...

@soon - I was on a break to give my body rest before starting my half marathon training. I had to go into the office for training so it worked out as a good time for a break. I was doing daily walks but my nutrition wasn't where I wanted it to be. I'll be back on track starting Monday.
