It takes time, mainly it is getting over your own subconscious habits that have become ingrained over time. If you are yo-yoing then you need to re-evaluate things. This is my problem too, I keep falling back into old habits, which I need to break. As you say "Focus"

It's the weight that's yoyo ING, I seem to drop a lb then gain it again, hopefully my new lower calorie intake will fix it. Diet wise I'm finding it easy tbh.

I wish I could say the same.

I think hormones may play a role in it too....

You can see this in cases where women have had children or go through menopause. Oestrogen level change in anyone probably has that effect and depending on the level of that change adipose tissue may be proportional to that change. You can see this when females have children, this is natural as the adipose layer is added to protect the unborn child in the womb and later to store energy for milk production. You cannot really call that bad adipose tissue, as it is used for a purpose. I would imagine that modern women have a worse problem due to social factors, as many decide to not breast feed. There are many reasons in females why adipose tissue is added/subtracted and I would imagine many are triggered by Oestrogen levels.
