Woke at 233.7, up .2 from yesterday. Man, this is a hard slog to get back to the 220s. Eating under 1500 cal a day to try to get it back. UPDATE: I got too busy and forgot to weigh in before lunch. But I moved a lot of water and weighed 233.6 after lunch, so I'm hoping for a nice number tomorrow.

It sucks. I always think that I am doing something wrong when that happen and I often am but sometimes my body is just not cooperating with what previously worked well.

Yeah. As long as I get the calorie total down on a long-term basis it’s gonna happen. i’ve not been hitting my calorie goals for months now and that’s resulted in the lack of progress.

try eatting 2000 calories A day and you will see faster results. eatting too little can cause your body too maintain. I was 260 pounds 6 months ago and I am 212 today.

Turbo, one's RDI depends on many factors, so it varies from person to person. Glad you've found what works best for you.

It is hard to find the right spot for calories for sure. My husband's trainer just put him on 1200 calories for a few weeks. I could not do that. I am consistently around 1600-1800 in maintenance.

Thanks, all. My estimated calorie burn at rest of 1900 some calories. I've spent the better part of the last year eating 2100-2200 on average. Too many. I took my target down by 100 this month. Even if I don't hit that, I will hit the number I need eventually.

Maybe it's changed, but correct me if I'm wrong. You don't use a food scale and eat out a lot? If that's still true, how would you know your calorie count?

Hi, Diablo. I use a food scale religiously at home. When I eat out, I do estimate by taking photos of everything. That's once a twice a week. Not scientific, but the limit of reasonable compromise. But I admittedly do not hit even the calorie targets I've established, so I'm not complaining.
