First, you are looking amazing. Second, with my end of the day, tired eyes looking at your pic on the phone, I first thought you were posting in a little French maid outfit and was slightly confused until my eyes were able to actually focus. 🤣

Thank you all for your kind words! My heart is warmed!!! Katsolo! I had to laugh at what you said! One of my girls and I found the dress at a thrift store, and I loved it. I may just have to take it to France with me now that you have made that connection! I don't think it is the most in style item ever, but it is actually a really high quality, wrinkle free, comfy, cool dress! Perfect for travel in my opinion... and I am not high fashion, so I don't care if it is! Love2, Maybe when we met, but not part way through the journey. Gosh, I was fit then, and now I am just me. That is ok. I am not where I started! Diana, I got a few little things I need! I refuse to carry more than 20 pounds including the weight of my backpack for the trip, so not much is going! We are headed up to see family in Canada this coming week, and then I'll be working nonstop until we leave for France on the 19th... still A ways to go, but I won't have time to prepare later. Anyway, thank you again for your encouraging words. Truly, I am not the same person I was. My self esteem was so low. I wouldn't have even had the courage to take a mirror picture. I still struggle every day, but I am so endlessly grateful for the support I found here. Even though I have so little time and feel like I am just a "taker" and not contributing much because I am so occupied by life, I am so happy I can post here for accountability and for encouragement. Best to be you. That’s where I’m at now as well. Not sure how I was where I was a year ago at this point, but just keep plugging along. We should still get together!

Thank you, Sherry, Erika, and karlzava! We just keep trying! Love2, we were not terribly far from you... This was at south center mall. We were down at SeaTac picking up a kid from the airport. It would be such fun to see you and Jess some day. To maintain the level of fitness I had takes so much focus and dedication I don't have right now. Right now I am learning to accept where I am. I'm being careful, trying to do better and working out when I can. Life is busy and stressful and never stops for any of us. All we can do is keep moving forward the best we can in the moment!  

I would not worry about what’s in fashion these days, it changes weekly. Just go with classics that feel good. I think this one is a winner and looks fantastic on you.
