Marp. I always dreaded Thanksgiving before. This was the first time I spent it with people I care. I enjoyed it and… I felt loved for once. Are you eating salad again tomorrow? If so, I’ll do the same. Let me know.

Marp😂 that sounds like Jamie’s salad. Did he convert you too? Do you follow his instructions to a tee?😂😂😂 The best part of my thanksgiving meal was that those people prayed for me. They know I’m a heathen! They take my transgressions very seriously, and I can’t think of anything as kind as that.  

Yes to all! One apple and one pumpkin. But 1/2 slice of both. tomorrow I'm having apple pie for breakfast! What kind of pie did you have?  

Amazing. A loving connection to your fellow travelers and thanks shouted to God, sounds like you got the perfect thanksgiving package ☺️ 

A prayer in your name is the most heart warming experience. Good on them. Sounds like a lovely family gathering.  

🧸🧸🧸 I had a thick slice of sweet potato pie baked by an honest Southern Baptist lady! She made me take a slice home too, so I guess I could have that for breakfast just like you are having your apple pie👯‍♀️ So happy to hear that your holiday was lovely🥰🧡 

Yohoyoh, yes I did. I’ve known the family since 1997. The hardships they endured were brutal, but their soul remains miraculously intact. They always accepted me unconditionally, I don’t know why I even deserve their love. They brought so much grace to my otherwise empty life. For that, I’m very grateful. I hope your day was as beautiful as mine was. 

Marp, it shocked me to see that’s someone cared enough to pray so passionately for me. They know my flaws, I have done stupid, shameless things, but they never judged me and loved me no matter what. What else could I ask for? I was getting weary of this increasingly transactional world, but they reminded me that I should continue to strive to care for others just like they do. I am glad I visited them, it was a last minute decision.
