The governor of Mass changed it from a storm advisory to a potential hurricane. Should I hurry to the store and stock up on bread, eggs, milk and beer?

🤔🤥

Me: Day 4 no beer.

As someone trained in hurricane response, FEMA certified in disaster response, and a building code official on the southeast coast... You'll be fine. Get some water and basic non-cooking foods, close your curtains/blinds, and check in with nhc.noaa.gov spaghettimodels.com and local news. Oh! and hurricames are always an exception for beer!

and put away your lawn and patio furniture. I'm just up the road from you Ches. We're going to get a mighty storm, but it won't still be a hurricane by the time it hits us. We're preparing for a possible power outage.

Hi Ches !! I am in Indiana now, but from Age 13 to June age 52 in Florida, Lol I well aware of the hurricane routine!!! Amazingly the only one i suffered on was the one 2017 (Irma or Maria)when the power was out for a week, in 1987 i was a teenager, we had to evacuate on the beach for Elena
