I know what works for me in the past, I just need to fast 3+ days at a time.

Reality right now, is that 'mentally' I just can't do it. Perhaps that will change in the future, but, right now this is where I am at and I have to accept it.

So the plan this week is to go <20 carbs a day for 5 days.

Let's see what happens...

Accept where you are and I hope you progress in the future. I am taking baby steps at the moment until I get my mental toughness back as well.

Yeah my mind is my worst enemy. Even if I am not hungry it’s always thinking of things to eat!! And it not my tummy says I am hungry!! Constant battle!! So you are definitely not alone!!👍😉

Maybe do be so hard on yourself and allow your body to heal with wholly, healthy foods created by mother earth so that your system will understand the language of that food and create order instead of malfunctioning with processed food and false information. Best wishes and may you always be happy

Adefwebserver, I lost my weight with intermittent fasting. I eat all I want at lunch, be it healthy, then I don’t eat again till the next lunch. I am full and never hungry at night. By 12 hours of fasting, you've entered the metabolic state called ketosis, which burns fat. You absolutely don’t need to do days at a time. That’s hard and might not be healthy. Do what works for you, but this is so easy. I don’t lose tons, but a little bit at a time, and now I am approaching my goal. I watched a news reporter who was overweight almost since she started reporting. She slowly loss weight after years and years of being overweight. I followed suit and I am almost there.🙂 Good luck with your journey, just letting you know what worked for me. Have a Marvelous Monday!👍

This sounds good. I've done 20 or less carbs a day and it works.
