Yesterday I made the decision to cut out sodas from my diet again. I had gotten back on them briefly (after being off them for several years) prior to my hernia surgery in January, and continued through yesterday, mainly to help get rid of excess gas. I chose to use diet soda to avoid carbs, and I decided that Tab would be the beverage of choice. My dad used to drink Tab, and I acquired the taste for it growing up. I even preferred it to Diet Coke, even though both were made by the same manufacturer. But since the Coca Cola Company decided to discontinue making Tab, now was a good time to remove them from my diet. As a drank a silent toast to my dad with the last Tab yesterday, I know I that removing sodas again is the right dietary choice.

For myself it has been one of the reasons I've dropped so much weight. Just stopping sodas/sweet tea/Gatorade etc. Just mainly water, dole juice, 1% milk. It does get frustrating but I like the results I continue to attain. Good luck with it!

I remember when Tab was the only diet soda! I drank a lot of it when cramming for finals in college!

Yes!! We’ve been really enjoying “Polar” brand of essenced water, much more “soda-y” taste than La Croix, but it’s still 0 calories/carbs/sugar.

I think that they are very hard on your stomach I had to give them up years ago I hope you enjoyed your toast

I have a similar problem in that I don't tolerate aspartame, so I quit diet sodas for about 4 years. Then Coke started making Diet Coke with Splenda & I got back into them. But like Tab, it's getting harder to impossible to find Diet Coke w/Splenda. I've tried Diet Rite cola, which is made with Splenda, but it's just not the same. I should probably go back to ice tea & kick the colas again, but one battle at a time (don't get me started on my coffee habit, LOL!).

Fresca was my thing, back before the soda manufacturers fabricated a reason to give up saccharine. And go with sweetener 100 times cheaper.

I forgot about Tab,,,I should look for it for one last sip. I've gotten myself used to not having soda that much anymore. I liked Fresca too.
