About every 5 pounds lost, I go through my closet to see what fits and what is still skin-tight.

Am feeling rather discouraged because I don't see any difference this time. Where did I lose the 5? In my calves? Feet? Neck? Certainly not off the areas that get covered by thread. Sigh. And then I got pissed off.

I went to the grocery store yesterday to double-down on my efforts: pistachios, almonds (wasabi flavored, my latest fave), toasted edamame, bananas, red grapes, cherries, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, and dried apricots, plums and dates.

For the next week, my meals will be simple combinations of the above plus a multivitamin, washed down with black coffee, herbal teas, and water.

MISSION: KILL THE FAT

the closet thing is a great idea! I currently judge my weightloss by how my baby carrier fits me haha I should go through my closet next week

Thanks, Aviendha! I think the baby carrier test is perfect. But you should definitely set up some rewards for your mini milestones along the way. I just looked and saw that I'm due for my latest, which actually occurred 4 lbs. ago: new 'do. I've been growing out my last haircolor since quarantine started and home-hacking the dead ends as much as possible, so the shape of it would make a stylist do an "oh boy". Hee-hee!

Ooh ya I also need new hair hahaha esp since losing alot of it after baby was born. =( I will set up some goals for myself tonight! Thx for the great idea!

I feel ya. Sometimes I will go through my own closet. 5lbs is like losing 5 one pound bags of flour. That's great that you lost that much. I need to catch up to you, haha!

Morgan, at your current weight, the pounds will fly off with little effort and pain if you keep your calorie count =<2000/day. Five pounds of flour will jump off every week! Can't wait to see you slim! 😊

Haha..Same here, eventually it will show. I carry weight everywhere but I only see it in my face, feet,hands, and bra lol. I lost 30 lbs since last year but only went down 1 size. Keep on keeping on. We can all do this.❤

I also did the same thing with 5lbs loss. Old clothes are still tight. Ugh... maybe we can feel the difference with 10lbs loss. (We can do this!)

Cheylynn -- I hear you! My bras are lined up in the drawer from largest to smallest in preparation for the big drop in cup size. I lost one cup within 15 pounds. Next one will be gone in another 10. Whahhh. However, the good news is that it will make room for the pretty dresses in my closet. HealthyAgain -- there BETTER be some better fitting in the next 5 pounds! We're heading into springtime, and I won't be able to hide under sweaters and sweatshirts for long!
