So today is Day 1.
I built up for it by going grocery shopping on Friday and loading up on fresh fruits and veggies, and instead of buying my usual bags of candies and chocolates, I got big containers of nuts and toasted soybeans to snack on.
Two pairs of new tennis shoes arrived last week, and I took one pair out for a short walk to break it in the following day. Sore muscles. (Ridiculous, since I actually ran a half-marathon a couple of years ago. Back then I also weighed 50 pounds less.)
My new scale arrived from Amazon yesterday, so this morning was Weigh In #1. It honestly was about 10 pounds less than I was expecting, so that made me feel better.
Opened up a Fat Secret account, and am enjoying black coffee and a bunch of red grapes for breakfast. So far, so good.
