Sounds like you need a sunny beach to sit on and get that vitamin D. UTI's are terrible. Haven't had one in years and thankfully an antibiotic wiped it out pretty quickly. Good luck to you! You are healthy in other areas- so that's good!

I have to go back to the doctor again in 6 weeks. For the vitamin D deficiency I guess.🤔

Did they give you some ways to improve it? Or a supplement?

Well that is good news!!! Nothing that cannot be easily fixed.

Antibiotics for the infection and Vitamin D2 supplements. My energy has been really low, that was for the vitamin D deficiency, and probably for the infection told me the doctor.

UTI’s suck. A low vitamin D can cause all sorts of symptoms. I was an 11. Had to get put on a weekly prescription. Low Vitamin D is also found in autoimmune disease like MS and RA and fibromyalgia and Lupus. It makes it hard to pin point. If you’re still having symptoms after taking prescribed Vitamin D, see your primary and ask for a rheumatologist or neurologist referral to just check.

Yasmin, thank you, I know, and I am glad I went to the doctor, so it will not get worse, I was surprised because I had no symptoms. I had UTI a few years ago, but I had fever, and pain, then.

Hundred years ago, the doctor would probably say you need more time under the sun. Been awhile since I read about Vit D supplements, and it concluded that the value of pill form is low. Maybe adding some sun will speed things up. Wishing you get back to feeling great very soon.

If you are severely deficient you do require a weekly 50,000 IU dose of Vitamin D for 6-12 weeks because the effects of a grossly low level can be debilitating, and also because if not improved you can have a debilitating autoimmune system that you have to grow and adapt too which would be the cause of the body not absorbing Vitamin D efficiently. Low levels require more than the sun.

MS and RA , Fibromyalgia and Lupus were not known in the ages when we were all outside hunting and gathering and those with it were probably known as the weak of the clan. I’m in the medical profession 19 years but I’m all about managing lifestyle to correct things like high cholesterol and type II diabetes.
