Finally made it to a group run on Saturday and it was literally me and a trainer which was totally worth it! She told me that I have good form and advice to work on my breathing. I ran for 5 whole minutes without stopping and Im basically a boss now. I had to take a 30 second walk in the middle of the other 2 five minute runs but thats OK. Its still the most I've ever done- probably literally.
I had a major anxiety spike today and the adrenaline was just too much so I took a long lunch and went to the gym and worked it out. I thought about running but thought maybe I should focus on something else and really I just wanted to throw something heavy. I forgot how great the gym was for that sort of thing.
Not doing great on what I eat, but Im not doing terrible either. Just need to cut back on eating out and fried stuff. All in good time.

I joined a run club because I like to torture myself. Just kidding, I thought maybe it would spark some motivation and activity. I know that lifting weights is probably best for me, but since Im not doing that, any kind of movement is good movement. I missed the first group run because I was out of town and then I was in my head and didnt do it on my own the rest of the week. The next group run wasnt much better, I thought I knew where we were meeting but I was on the wrong side of the lake and by the time I figured that out, I was late. But it was god awful early and I was already there so I did it anyway and that was a HUGE accomplishment for me. I made myself go again yesterday and once I started, I realized that I was wearing the wrong shoes. I pushed through and today my ankles are super sore so Im wearing cushier shoes to work. They arent my favorite, but they seem to be helping. I actually dont mind the running. I do have to laugh when I see the schedule and it says "25 minutes light jog" - yeah no way. But Im trying and thats what matters.

Ive been feeling super bloated and huge, so todays weigh in is no surprise. Ive been trying to eat better, but since I havent been tracking... I know its been getting away from me. Im already coming up on an event that I wanted to weigh less for, but now its too late. Thats my normal signal to throw in the towel but Im going to keep trying and not let it get me.

Welp. Hangin in there. Trying to drink more water and move my body more without killing myself. Honestly, I dont know how I started working out in the first place because I get so sore from the smallest movement now. So dumb.
