I have been enrolled in the bariatric program for about 8 months. I have decided to have the surgery because I am 65- and 120-pounds overweight. I have severe sleep apnea, arthritis in both my knees, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and two little grandsons ages 3 and 2 that I adore. I know this is not a permanent solution but a tool to assist me. The last hurdle to get through the program was to be able to use my sleep apnea machine every night for at least four hours and I have been able to do that. Just needed to share.
