Head is still foggy at times. I think that happens when my dad pops into my thoughts & concentration becomes difficult. My new job started, and I haven't time to pee or eat half the time. I'm thinking the 5:2 diet may work well with this job & my mom jobs that I've to sort too. I have noticed I'm thirstier, more than usual. I've a feeling that is to do with the ac in the building where I work. My husband is a lifesaver. He's carrying extra at home (housework wise) to help me adjust to my new job. Plus, he's aware of my depression & doesn't want me to feel overwhelmed. I feel blessed having him by my side. Now all I need is for my 2 teens to get the finger out... dream on, me!!! 🙈

I pounded on the weight while my dad was dying. Well, I had put on alot prior to that but once he told me last year that he had small cell lung cancer, an extremely aggressive form of cancer, I started eating like there was no tomorrow, for anyone!
Since his passing & burial, 2 weeks ago. My grief has suppressed my appetite. Which in itself is a good thing in one way.
I've told my mom that my intention is to eventually get the gastric sleeve surgery. She was thrilled for me because she knows how hard I've been struggling with my weight for the last 10 to 14 years now.
For the moment, I'm going to stick to just seeing if pushing back from the table sooner will work for me. I'm old school. Finish everything on your plate. Not good! I'm starting a new job too, so I'm hoping the size 20 uniform starts to fall off me sooner rather than later. My knickers are always the best sign of my weight loss. I can't be the only one!?
Chin up for me & I'll do my best....I know my dad would want that for me too. He always watched his figure. Think he did it more for my mom than himself. She's always kept herself trim & gorgeous.
