Sunday, the end of the weekend and I think I trashed a lot of my good work by having maybe too many celebratory drinks.
On the bright side: I am being much more active, feel better and drink more water.
I knew I would be having this dinner and tried to be good the rest of the week. I’ll take it as a little reward.

Well, this is a bittersweet update:
My scales arrived and I weigh 81.9 kg (sigh)
There may be several explanations for this: my doctor’s surgery scales was wrong, or the new scales are!
Another possibility is that I have turned some fat into muscle, as I do see myself a wee bit slender.
I must admit I was scared of weighing myself, I do not know why... and here, it happened! I weigh nearly one kilo more than I thought!
Not to despair: I am sticking to my regime no matter what as I feel a lot better and my food intake is enough and of good quality. The fact that from now on I will have my own scales will allow me to have a more consistent view of my weigh decrease.
(Not happy of still being in my 80s though)

A beautiful Sunday morning! A friend noticed my weight loss yesterday. It has been a while since she last saw me so it was good news. I’ll try it not to make me overconfident (it has happened before: people compliment me and I start “rewarding myself” with disastrous consequences) and continue on my quest.
Next steps? I bought myself some good bathroom scales to monitor progress. My triumph yesterday: at a volunteering group I opted for the healthy meal option and did not have one of those delicious mince pies (they are my weakness).
I hope I will continue on the right path!
